課程概述 |
Conduct field experiment during 2 three days long cruise aboard a research vessel. Analyze samples, data processing, and present results in a series of drafts and a final term paper. Results are presented at public research symposium and on the departmental seminar |

課程目標 |
Techniques of documenting collected materials, the methods of reconnaissance and the mapping of traverses in the major coastal environments. Sampling and recording techniques, and the use of maps and remotely sensed imagery will be introduced. Design and conduct a field study in oceanography. Field trip required (usually during Spring break). Focus on active learning, deployment of instruments, data collection, interpretation, and presentation |
